vitamix blenderDear Beloved Member of the Beauty Detox Community,

Here it is…another chance to win a brand-new Vitamix 5200 blender, valued at $449! I wanted to have another Vitamix contest, because I know how pricey they are. Though it is an important investment in your health and my #1 favorite piece of kitchen equipment, I completely understand it isn’t always affordable right at this exact moment for all of our budgets.

Well here’s your shot to win a brand new one!

I’ve also gotten one of my favorite skincare companies, Sally B’s Skin Yummies, to donate a basket of the specific, non-toxic beauty products that I love, which you can win if you follow the contest through to the end. The product basket is valued at over $200!

This is my way of saying “Happy Spring!” and thank you for joining and being a part of the Beauty Detox community. Your sharing, and just being present with me here in cyberspace (which I can feel!) means the world to me.

Sending my love,

Kimberly

Hi! I just discovered your website. It’s a good resource! I wanted to put my name in for the Vitamix, but somehow, I am unable to enter anything into the entry fields in the link you provide. It is a great tool, though- I borrowed one for a few weeks this winter, and I’d love to own one myself. Being able to make my own smoothies and blended soups helped give my stomach a break (I have chronic stomachaches) and was a good way to get in more vegetables, too.

Hi! Im an illustrator/ cartoonist and mum of two looking for a healthier lifestyle. Drawing illustrations is fun but sedentary work and a really good blender would make quick work of eating raw! If i won I would be happy to do original handdrawn illustrations for your blog :) Cheers!

It was the contest for the Vitamix that lead me to your website and now I am so glad I came! I have been exploring and I am already a big fan!

I would really like to win the bonus package…it just looks loaded with so much good stuff! I have been going thru chemo and I notice a lot of damage to my skin and now my scalp which no longer has any hair! (Everyone says I have a nice shaped head for a bald person..lol) I would probably just soak up all that good stuff!

As for the vitamix..I am so excited about that! I have watched the demos in various stores and can only dream about getting one even though I know it would be the perfect appliance to bring me the type of nutrition I need to get my body healthy. A little ol juice machine isn’t going to do it. Besides, it is so much work a person is worn out just making one glass of juice and there is so much waste!

Thank you for this opportunity to try and make this dream come true…gotta go pray now!

Hi kimberly! First thing I just want to say that I love your book so much, my favorite part is the intro where you talk about your life and how you ended up traveling for 3 years nonstop! I always go back and read it when I need a little inspiration in my day :) I’ve never felt happier than I do now, I feel so great eating the way I do. I’m now even getting my mom into it! Although she doesn’t drink the GGS yet.. I blame our blender, it chops rather than blend very well! Oh I also got ‘the solution’ its great too! Kimberly thank you so much for all the great advice!!

Oh can’t wait for the yoga video!

Hi Kimberly!! Love your book!! What do you recommend eating for breakfast when you don’t have a blender on hand (eg when traveling)?

    Thank you, Julia xx

      Hi Julia, thank you!
Have your lemon water as usual, then bring some individual packets of green powders with you (like Green Vibrance). Have that first with water, then have some fruit, or if you are a BB have some oatmeal. xx

Hi Kimberly, so excited about this competition! I am currently studying nutritional medicine and just read your book. I really enjoyed it and it rang true to much of what I have found out in my own experience. I reviewed it on my blog if you are interested.

I desperately want a vitamix but could never afford one on my student budget. Thanks for the opportunity :)

Thank you so much for doing this Kimberly!! You are absolutely right that there are those of us who really want to follow the Beauty Detox plan, but just don’t have it in our budget to buy the blender. I think it is fantastic that you are giving one of us a chance to make a difference in our health where we wouldn’t otherwise be able to do so. Thanks so much!!

You’re welcome Jennifer! Good luck in winning. But even if you can’t afford a Vitamix at the moment, try to put $20 aside a week, and you’d be able to get a refurbished one in a few months. :) If not, check out the Ninja, which is a less expensive option that some readers have told me works pretty well. It would be a shame not to make the GGS because of a blender shortage!!

    Hi Kim!

Thanks for the opportunity to win a Vitamix!

I’ve read your book and have recently been going through all of your old blog posts and I was wondering if the yoga dvd that you were working on will be available anytime? My gym doesn’t offer a very good yoga class and I know yours would be amazing!

If not – I live in LA – is there a yoga studio that you recommend?

    Thanks!

Yes, it is coming soon! Very exciting…and finally! We found an amazing music composer and he is composing the music now, which was the final link in finishing production. Stay tuned!

I wish I could participate, but I don’t have a facebook account to meet all the steps.
    I don’t think this is nice, sorry…

You don’t need a facebook account to win the Vitamix. You only need it to be entered into the bonus drawing for the Sally B’s basket.

    Hey Kim!

Thank you for hosting so many opportunities to win a vitamix!
Also, I was lurking the comments/questions on your “Mothers Day Gifts” blog, and I noticed a lot of people were asking about face cleansers and such.
I saw that you wrote you will have a blog post about facial skin care coming soon, and I just wanted to ask about your insight into body skin care as well.
I have a tendency to scar, and I am dealing with stretch marks on my hips/inner thighs and facial acne hyperpigmentation (which has gotten SO much better after going raw vegan, but it’s still there ruddying my face :( )
I would love your insight about scar healing. I would do anything to be able to peel off my ruddy skin like a snake and get a new fresh and flawless skin all over.

    Thanks for reading!
