“We’ll Have What She’s Having!”

Hey Guys!

Wanted to share this awesome mention in Star Magazine that came out today!

I’m with the gorgeous Hilary Duff, from The Beauty Detox Solution launch party in LA a few weeks ago.

I’ve had a whirlwind trip to LA and NY the last 3 days- with Access Hollywood, European press, book signings and more! Headed back to N’awlins early tomorrow, and I’ll write more soon.

All my love,

Kimberly

  1. Congratulations!! So great to see how well you are doing:) I’ve been following your blog for a while and it’s nice to see your message is definitely getting around to so many people!

I’ve never commented on the blog page so forgive me if this is the wrong way to do it… I do have a question that I posted on facebook when I noticed you mentioned to someone else that they can ask you questions on your blog. Sorry for the multiple entries but I’m really interested in your opinion since I really don’t want to lose any more weight. I Love eating healthy and I’m not sure what other healthy calorie dense food is out there….

Reposted from FB: “Hey Kim here’s a strange question but how do you NOT lose weight while eating healthy? I really love eating right and feel much better with salads, green smoothies, fruit and veggie based meals. I’m not a vegan but since reading your book have significantly cut back on meat and dairy. I am pregnant so I’m being careful not to officially detox right now but I have also reduced the amount of gluten and sugar I would normally eat. I’ve lost 4 lbs since my last dr’s appt and that was only two weeks ago! I try to supplement with avocados, healthy oil, nuts, coconut and nut milk based products, but I can’t seem to keep up with the weight I’m supposed to be gaining. Please help any advice would be really appreciated, I don’t want to go back to eating all the cheese, yogurt, meat and milk stuff!! Thank you:)”

  2. Hi Kimberly,
congratulations on your book! I just finished it and I totally agree with everything you’ve explained it it. I read a book a few months ago called the raw food detox diet and have been following it somewhat, but your book just made so much more sense to me. My biggest concern since learning all of this information is not how I will apply it to my lifestyle since it’s easy for me, but how to apply it to my 18 month old son. I almost cried when I read in your book that feeding an infant soy formula is the equivalent of giving an infant 5 birth control pills a day since my son had been on soy formula (he spit up from every other kind). I am so confused as to how to feed him, what is healthy for him, what his nutritional requirements are… I know his doctor knows nothing about nutrition even though she is a great pediatrician. You stress the importance of greens in your book, but how can I feed my toddler an abundance of greens when he can’t chew a salad yet or pretty much any raw vegetable, and doesnt really like steamed vegetables. Please help!! I’m so confused!! So many of the ones I have read just say to give tons of soy products, which I know isn’t healthy either.
