Fox and Friends Segment: 5 Easy-to-Find Beauty Foods for Spring!

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RWDHxk3tNc

Hey Guys!

So I am officially beginning a new adventure today (Friday)… I’m leaving to start work as the nutritionist on a new film! I’ll write more details over the the next few days on my new life. :)  I’ve been wrapped up with packing (Yuck), which is so not my favorite but a necessary evil. I always bring all my own kitchen equipment, including my dehydrators, electric mixer, knives, salad spinners, and a zillion other things.

So… I better get back to our boxes, but I wanted to share these 5 easy and affordable beauty foods you can incorporate into your spring regime, to help boost your beauty!

I’ll see you soon!

Tell me, how many of these beauty foods were you able to use over the next few days? And remember to use organic makeup brands to stay fresh without the mess in your body!

xx Kimberly

  1. Hi Kim,

I’m looking at your lime bars recipe, and was wondering if I could sub the cashews with blanched almonds?

    Thanks!

  2. hi Kimberly,

i am reading your book, i love it, i have a questions, can i have more then 2 seeds on my salad at the same time? and 2 nuts at the same time? for example

  4. Hi Kimberly!

I am reading your book right now, and I’m so excited to transition myself into Blossoming Beauty. Finally there is something I can do about my candida issue!! Thank you so much for enlightening me! Right now I’m a vegan but I am working to transition gluten and what I call “vegan convenience foods” like veganaise and tofutti cream cheese out of my fridge and my diet. In the first section of the book I got all excited and bought a LOT of fruit, so now that I’ve read the section on candida, I’m finishing my fruit and won’t be buying any more (except lemon of course!)

Thank you so much for this book!

  5. I love your green smoothies! They are an excellent addition to my diet because they get the lemon and greens in there!

  6. Hi Kimberly!

I’m so enjoying reading The Beauty Detox Solution! Such an inspiring book.

I was wondering if your yoga DVD will be released soon. I hope so :)

      • I am in the process of developing my own line of products that will include the following products: A probiotic, magnesium-oxygen supplement, digestive enzymes, facial moisturizer, eye cream and cleanser. Until then I recommend Magnesium Oxygen supplement- Aerobic Life Mag O7 (Vitamin Shoppe), Probiotic- Dr. Ohira 12 Strand (Vitamin Shoppe), Digestive Enzyme- Rainbow Light Advanced Enzyme System (Vitamin Shoppe)

  7. yes, where do I find probiotic supplement, and maynesium-oxygen supplement. I looked on your website to see I could find out how to order it and I could not find it.

  8. Hi Kimberly. Can’t wait to hear about the movie set you’ll be on next. Sounds exciting.

My hubby just surprised me with your book as an early birthday present.

Why do there seem to be so many discrepancies when I search for info on food combining? Is it true that some of the rules can be broken when food is blended? How exactly do bananas combine, as I’ve seen some exceptions for them, too.

Also, how do you classify protein powders such as hemp, rice and pea proteins? Do they combine like proteins (I’m guessing that hemp is treated like nuts and seeds) or similar to their source (for example, rice would be a starch)? I know you’re busy. Whenever you do get a chance, I’d love to see a post about this. Thanks. Have fun on location :-)

  9. Hi Kim,

Not sure where to ask a question so I thought I’d give this a go!

I’ve just read your book, and loved it, but am unclear exactly when I should be eating nuts. Is it not ok to eat them as a snack during the afternoon? Also I LOVE eating my steel cut oats with blueberries in the morning. How bad a pairing is that? I have started eating a couple celery sticks first thing but I don’t know if I can give up my oatmeal/blueberry mornings :(

Thanks and I am looking forward to working my way through your stages!! Never been so filled with positive possiblity to be as healthy as I can be!

  10. Hey Kimberly,

I’ve been reading all over your website for the last week or so and have even made the green smoothie a few times (YUM!). I am pretty overweight and have been on the SAD for my entire life. It’s almost time for me to graduate college and become a “big-girl” and try to lose the weight. I was wondering if you had any suggestions to do this while I am still stuck in a college town overwhelmed by fast food and little organic produce. I’ve read your post about weight loss tips, but still am lost when I get to the grocery store. I’d MUCH appreciate it!
